How to book trainline booking

How to make changes 

To make changes to your rail booking please contact the AmexGBT travel team on +44 (0)20 3788 4019 and press option 3. To cancel your rail trip you can open/view the booking in Neo and you can cancel online. (please make sure you read the ticket conditions before you cancel)

When you contact the AmexGBT travel team about your Trainline booking, you will need to give the PNR/Transaction ID to the travel team to be able to assist. You can find the PNR/Transaction ID/Trainline Booking Reference in the booking in Neo or on the Trainline Confirmation that is sent directly to the traveller.


Where to find the confirmation number

You will find the PNR/Trainline Booking Reference in the trip itinerary in the Neo booking tool. Click here for the guide how to open/view a trip in Neo.

You will also be able to find the Trainline Booking reference in the confirmation email that is sent directly to the traveller.

Confirmation emails and receipts 

Trainline confirmations/receipts are directly sent to the traveller. These email are sent directly from Trainline and coming from the email address auto-confirm@info.thetrainline.com 


They are also accessible within the the booking tool by accessing the PNR 




Should you have any challenges accessing, and you require a copy, please reach out to the traveler or contact the AmexGBT travel team on +44 (0)20 3788 4019 and press option 3.
